Gaotu

Gaotu was where I first designed motion and edited video systematically for educational content. There's no room for flashy tricks here — parenting and picture-book shorts call for "natural" over "pretty," and I learned to translate real emotion with restrained pacing instead of adding visual noise. Through Watermelon Teacher's weekly columns, I established visual packaging standards and column style, working out a reusable pipeline — from packaging and dual-layer compositing to rhythm pacing — that keeps even five-minute videos visually consistent. I coordinated 120+ shoots with on-set creative decisions and was rated "executive director" by the lead. This experience taught me that the hardest part is rarely making something fancier, but making the message clear and worth watching.
